The Guardian learnt that the incident occurred at Ogbese town in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State. Ajayi , allegedly had carnal knowledge of the girl in the market square.
The state Police Public Relations Officer , Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the incident yesterday, while parading the suspect and others that were arrested for other crimes in Akure. “The suspect confessed to having slept with her once in his living room. The victim, a native of Ayetoro Street, Ayede Ogbese, came to the station and reported that one Famakinwa Ajayi, who is a clergyman impregnated her.”
