The Police in Jigawa State have arrested 19 suspected kidnappers of a traditional leader in Taura Local Government Area of the state.

Police Spokesman in the state, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam, confirmed the arrest of the suspects after a successful operation in the area. According to him, “Operatives of Babura division, Taura division, Ringim division, Garki division, vigilante group and hunters group led by CP A. S. Tafida, assisted by area commander Ringim, raided the suspected’ criminals’ hideouts in Ringim and Garki”. He said.
