Men of the Special Task Force on Petroleum and Illegal Bunkering Unit from Force Headquarters, Abuja, and operatives of the Association of Refineries and Petroleum Marketers , yesterday, bust a gang of suspected oil thieves at Church Gate, close to the headquarters of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited.

Occupants of the residence including Chijioke reportedly scaled the fence on sighting the Taskforce team and ran away leaving behind one Mr. Chinasa Ogbonna and one Ms Olamide, Secretary and Accountant, respectively. Speaking, Akpodoro said the exercise was in continuation of what the taskforce was doing across the states of the federation, noting that the team would not allow criminal elements to kill the economy of the nation through their unwholesome activities.
