—GOVERNOR Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, yesterday, said that persistent cult clashes in Bariga, Shomolu Local Government area of the state, forced him to construct the Bariga Waterfront Jetty.
He noted that the construction of the jetty was the only solution that came his way when persistent cult clashes claimed many lives. “I tried to find out what was actually responsible and discovered that a lot of cult members were always having access to free money from selling of sand which they used to harm others in the community.
