PDP rakes in N63m from sale of forms

The Peoples Democratic Party has generated N63 million from the sale of forms to 33 aspirants vying for the various positions in the 21-member National Working Committee .

So far, out of the 33 aspirants, Iyorchia Ayu (Benue), Ahmed Mohammed (Gombe), Umaru Bature (Sokoto), Daniel Woyengikuro (Bayelsa), and Kamaldeen Ajibade (Kwara) are consensus candidates for the positions of national chairman, national treasurer, national financial secretary and national legal adviser respectively.

Three persons, Taofeek Arapaja, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and Wale Oladipo, have obtained and submitted forms to contest for the position of National Secretary.A similar scenario is playing out in the North East where the position of deputy national chairman (North), is being hotly contested for.
