Members of the Artisan Fishermen Association of Nigeria, Niger Delta chapter, have urged the Shell Petroleum Development Company to immediately pay them the $3.4bn fine imposed on it by the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency. The communiqué was signed by Pastor Samuel Kuroko, Alexander Mesogboriwon, Elizabeth Egbe and Oris Otto.

The communiqué noted that it was the resolve of the body that the Shell Bonga Oil Spill of December 20, 2011 and the consequent stay away order made by NOSDRA to save the lives of Nigerians, especially the fishermen, has foisted hardship on the fishermen plying their trade on the coastal waters.

Your leaders today re using ur money to slap and beat you anyhow cause you all re foolish to allow poverty compromise and sell your right , your security agent and law maker re always going to be compromised cause they re all after money not their Neigbhorhood and future life.

Nigerians has shown over the years that they re all criminals and that it only outsider that can develop them while they just watch , observe to learn new life of transparency and orderliness!

Even if they give una that money it’s still won’t do nothing cause already killers re among you , the best is for them to single handedly fix ur community’s to be like Kuwait and Europe without ur people cos if your people still involve they would steal and alter development.
