Oyo State Government has set up surveillance system and treatment as Lassa fever spread to the Oke Ogun area of the state.
He said the state had set up a surveillance system across local government areas to stop further transmission of the disease. “This warranted a high-level investigating team led by the Honourable Commissioner for Health to visit the LGA on Thursday, January 13, 2022 to assess the situation and provide necessary support to abate any further transmission of the illness.
