In his remarks at the event, Oyetola commended CA-COVID for funding the renovation of the health facility and for donating equipment, consumables and 100 beds, saying the state government added only 60 beds to the ones provided by the body.
He maintained that the facility would serve as an addition to the government’s other initiatives in containing the spread of the rampaging virus. “We are adopting a holistic approach to winning the pandemic, including working with the National Centre for Disease Control and the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
