This is coming one week after a monarch was abducted by gunmen who invaded his palace.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state Sunday Abutu confirmed to Channels Television that the Supervisor of Ekiti West Local Government was kidnapped Thursday evening while driving towards a town within the local government Abutu assured that the state police command will ensure the rescue of the politician and sustain efforts to rid the state of kidnappers and other criminals.
