.Speaking with TheCable, a resident of the area said the victim had a disagreement with bouncer who worked at the nightclub, which led to a fight.
Friends of the deceased were also said to have stormed the area before the police arrived at the scene of the incident.“The guy was stabbed at the club after a disagreement with one of the bouncers at the club,” the resident said. “After his death, his friends or some people that knew him came to the police, before the police came to the place.”
When asked for comment on the incident, Olamide Ogunlewe, one of the police officers on the ground, said investigation is ongoing and details could not be made available yet.“It’s not the right time to give the report of the incident now. We are still doing an investigation, and our principal officers are still inside the club. No one can talk now,” he said.
