The victims were rescued following an intense rescue opeartion embarked upon by the corps.on Idoani-Ifira road in Akoko South East Local Government Area of the state and kidnapped the passengers who were on transit from Abuja after sporadic gunshots.rescued nine of the victims.
Confirming the rescue of the remaining three victims, the state Commander of the Amotekun Corps, Adetunji Adeleye disclosed that the victims would be reunited with their family members on Saturday . “I can confirm to you that we have rescued the three remaining victims and they will be reunited with their families today ,” he said.
