The 1979 set of the Iwo Baptist High School, Iwo, Osun State on Friday handed over renovated Biology and Physics laboratories to the management of the school.
Speaking at the ceremony where the facility was inaugurated, the president of the set, Mr Jaiye Macaulay, said they embarked on the project for the current students to have access to good academic environment that the old students enjoyed in their own days. He said, “Iwo Baptist High School is our school and that is the place where all of us were made. What we are doing here today is to give back to the school so that the current students of the school can also enjoy what we enjoyed while schooling here.”
In his remarks, the National President, the Iwo Baptist High School Old Students Association, Mr Yinka Dosumu commended the 1979 set, saying the donation would enable the students to learn in a better environment.
