Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye says he is disappointed not to have kept a second clean sheet in the Eagles 3-1 win over Sudan on Saturday, which earned them a place in the last 16.

The lead was doubled on the stroke of half-time when the ball cannoned in off Taiwo Awoniyi before Simon grabbed the third goal after the restart. “First of all, I’m happy that we got the three points but disappointed not to keep a clean sheet,” Okoye told“We have qualified for the next round, which is nice but it would have been sweeter with the clean sheet.
