Okorocha reiterates commitment to water provision

Imo State Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha has pledged to provide potable water to the people.

Okorocha, represented by the Secretary to the Government of Imo State, Hon. Mark Uchendu, praised the United State Agency for International Development for partnering the state in water provision. Commissioner for Public Utilities Hon. Emeka Benjamin expressed his appreciation to Okorocha for supporting Imo, noting that it has emerged as one of the six states selected by USAID to be its partners in potable water provision.

Imo State Water Corporation General Manager, Mrs. Hope Anyiam noted that the corporation, the driver of USAID E-WASH programme in the state, will give maximum co-operation to the MDAs in the WASH business to ensure the success of the programme.
