Ogun: Driver dies in Ososa accident

The driver of a Hillux van was reported to have died Wednesday, in an accident at Rites Food junction, Ososa axis, along Odogbolu–Ijebu/Ode highway in Ogun State.The vehicle was suspected to be a property of Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College, Ibowon-Epe, Lagos State; as the name was inscribed on it.

The lone accident involving the Hillux vehicle, with registration number, BDG 513 XU, was confirmed by the Ogun State State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps. TRACE spokesperson, Babatunde Akinbiyi, informed that the vehicle had a burst tyre that resulted in its veering off the road into the bush.

The deceased driver “has been taken to State Hospital Mortuary by the Federal Road Safety Corps, while the vehicle was taken to MTD Odogbolu, by the police,” Akinbiyi said.
