Ogudu Senior Grammar School, Ogudu, Lagos, has emerged winner of the 2021 Rotary Club inter-secondary schools quiz competition.

Eva Adelaja Girls Secondary Grammar school, Bariga, came second, while Lanre Awolokun High School, Gbagada, emerged third.

The schools include, Ogudu Senior Grammar School, Ogudu; Eva Adelaja Girls Secondary Grammar school, Bariga; Lanre Awolokun High School, Gbagada; Luwasa Senior High School, Ijede; Oriwu Senior Model College, Igbogbo; Ifelodun Senior High School, Oke-Agbo; Ojota senior secondary school, Ojota; Muslim Senior College, Oworonshoki and Gbagada Senior Grammar School, Gbagada.

“Education is part of our core mandate to serve in Rotary. Every year, we organise the competition for students and have been doing it for over five years, we just felt. We have to do something for secondary schools just to motivate them,”Bakare said. Oluwasanu said the organisers decided to upgrade the gifts for winners, unlike those presented in the past, to encourage them in this digital world.
