The National Identity Management Commission has said that its server has never been down, explaining that most service downtime issues are due to poor network connectivity.

Last week, it was reported that passengers of the Abuja- Kaduna train station were left stranded as a result of the downtime of the NIMC server.

The report further stated that passengers were left with no other choice but to travel to Kaduna by road. He explained that the NRC’s internal network was unable to connect to the active NIMC’s server due to poor connectivity.
