Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Rivers United have completed the signing of Ghana goalkeeper, Seidu Mutawakilu.

Mutawakilu, a former Ghana U-20 goalkeeper joined the Port Harcourt club from Rangers International of Enugu.Mutawakilu was Rangers’ first choice goalkeeper in the 2021/22 season.The former Asante Kotoko SC, Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC goalkeeper moved to Rangers in 2017. Mutawakilu was the first choice goalkeeper for Ghana during the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in 2015 and was also part of the World Cup squad in the same year.
