Gas Marketing Company, a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, has, in partnership with Transit Gas Nigeria Limited, signed the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning contract for the building of a small-scale liquefied natural gas plant in Ajaokuta, Kogi State.

Speaking at the official contract signing ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer, Axxela, Mr Bolaji Osunsanya, said, “This official contract signing ceremony is a major landmark for us. We are happy to cross this critical milestone on this multifaceted virtual pipeline development. According to the statement, the gas liquefaction project is in line with Axxela’s mission to deliver innovative solutions that create sustainable and efficient energy utilisation for the benefit of all stakeholders.
