The Chief of Army Staff, Major General Farouk Yahaya, has assured injured troops involved in the ongoing counter-insurgency operations of adequate medical care.

This was contained in a statement by the Deputy Director Public Relations, 7 Division Nigerian Army/Joint Task Force, North East, Operation Hadin Kai, Ado Isa, on Saturday. The statement read, “The Chief of Army Staff made his maiden operational visit to the Theatre from June 16 to 19 to assess the operational and welfare state of the troops.
