Athletes amd officials of Team Nigeria at the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games are reportedly at loggerheads over phones given to athletes from each participating country by Samsung.
Our correspondent gathered that the procedure for collecting the phone was that each athlete was meant to go to Samsung office in Tokyo, scan with the Olympics accreditation tag and collect the phone. Trouble started in the Team Nigeria camp on Wednesday when the Athletics Integrity Unit disqualified 10 Nigerian athletes from competing in the track and field events of the 2020 Olympics after failing to meet anti-doping requirements.
One word. Shame.
All the athletes should refuse to represent Nigeria if the official doesn't release the phones. Abi which kain country be this?

Shameful & wicked sport officials!! It was ur incompetence that resulted in the disqualification of these 10 athletes yet you are denying them the phones bcos they can no longer compete at the Olympics. The officials want to cover the phones. Don't people have conscience anymore?
