😂 Fantastic! Boastful malfunctioning institutions. 84m voters, whose votes doesn’t count means nothing. Some African countries have less, but count. APC and PDP won't know what hit them ... I think the latest statistics from INEC is a bit scary though. Who are the people collecting over 500,000 PVCs in an insecure North? INEC might be complicit in gerrymandering to favour the North.

Rigging loading...... Make them sha give those new registers there pvc. Make them see magic next year 40 percent registered were underage kids Take it or leave it, this is the first stage of the steps to rig the election. Shows how great Nigeria is

This remains the only way to go but we know Nigeria and how deep this bastardisation of our society is. by SaHARAREPORTERS, New York Jun 27, 2022 The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has assured the international community that the electoral umpire would submit itself to the sanctity of votes cast by the Nigerian electorates ahead of the 2023 general elections.by June 25, 2022 2 min read The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the extension of its Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) across the country.4 min read T he Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Friday, published the particulars of candidates for the 2023 general elections.INEC, for allegedly stepping down the name of the state governor, David Umahi from the shortlisted APC senatorial candidates.

This was stated by the INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, on Monday in a meeting with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), Mahamat Saleh Annadif at the Commission headquarters in Abuja. He assured the team that his Commission would remain committed to a fair electoral process and ensure that elections “continue to get better and better and the democratic environment is increasingly consolidated. However, given the renewed interest of Nigerians, most especially the youth, vis-à-vis pressure from other quarters, the commission considered extending the exercise.” He said: “We are also happy that on our invitation, our working with the United Nations Office in Nigeria and the United Nations Development Programme, we invited a United Nations Needs Assessment Mission ahead of the 2023 general elections. Stating his occupation as “POLITICIAN,” the 70 years old APC National Leader claimed he obtained a B. And I am glad that His Excellency, the Secretary of the United Nations accepted our invitation and not too long ago sent a Need Assessment Mission. “The youth want to know when the registration will end. “I also want to thank UNOWAS because each time we conduct an election you send a team to monitor and observe our election. “INEC was invited for the re-conduction because there was enough time for the party to re-conduct another primary election that will usher in another person.

I am sure 2023 is not going to be different. For as long as we have you people trying to register, we will continue to register you,” Mr . “I went on self-exile from October 1994 to October 1998. “We are aware of the strategic importance of Nigeria in our sub-region and also our responsibility in ensuring that there is electoral and democratic stability in the sub-region. As you rightly pointed out, there are 15 countries in the sub-region. Similar figures, largely made up of the youth, were also recorded at the first leg of the concert in Lagos a couple of weeks back. In order to show the importance of Nigeria in our democracy, as of today, we have 84 million registered voters but Nigeria is one out of 15 countries in the sub-region. Some Nigerians want to know more about Mr Tinubu’s past than what he revealed to INEC. But, the total number of registered voters in the other 14 countries put together, is 73 million, meaning that Nigeria has 11 million voters more than other countries in the sub-region put together. We have about 50 voter registration machines. If you like, they can still forward a list of the states that had issues and the possible substitution they made, because the national office of the party can not afford to leave any particular space vacant.

“Each time Nigeria conducts a general election is like a general election in the whole of West Africa. So, we appreciate the enormous responsibility the Commission is charged with. Before Mr Yakubu’s latest disclosure, there was an interim order issued by the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday restrained the electoral body from going ahead with its plan to end the exercise on June 30. After the Supreme Court dismissed the suit on the ground that Mr Tinubu had immunity as governor against being prosecuted in court, the Lagos State House of Assembly investigated the matter and absolved Mr Tinubu of the charge of gross misconduct. The election is both national and international; we have very good working relationship with strategic partners and allies in the country, we work very closely with the political parties, civil society organisations, media, security agencies in the country but at the same time we also work closely with our friends in the international community such as UNOWAS. So whenever you come on this kind of mission, we feel fully encouraged to continue to do what we need to do for the peace and stability of our sub-region. SERAP and the other applicants in the case had argued that if the electoral body planned to end the exercise at the end of the month, it would illegally disenfranchise many Nigerians from getting their Permanent Voters Card (PVC). “So, I want to assure you that we will continue to do what is right on the basis of the law, the ultimate choice is going to be made by Nigerians. Atiku not exempted P REMIUM TIMES scrutiny of the published documents by INEC picked up a similar thing about two or more candidates. Related Topics:.

Nigerians will determine who they want in the 2023 general elections and we will continue to uphold the choice made by Nigerians. This was against the backdrop of various challenges recorded at various centres during the exercise. “So I want to assure you that we will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that our election continue to get better and better and the democratic environment is increasingly consolidated. We look forward to seeing you again before and during the election. He had lost to President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 election." .
