Nigeria'll take advantage of 5G to address security challenges, says Buhari

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , on Tuesday, said the Federal Government will take full advantage of the opportunities that Fifth Generation provides for the economy, security and well-being of the nation.

The policy was presented and approved at the Federal Executive Council meeting on September 8, 2021, following a robust debate. Adesina quoted Buhari as saying, ”It will also support security institutions with real time communication. Adesina said the President explained that the National 5G Policy includes a deployment plan to ensure that major cities across the country benefit from the technologies.

5G that will work without electricity. Misappropriation of priority. Why not first improve electricity efficiency which will act as a catalyst to the 5G installations. The presidency consist of round pegs in square holes.
