Nigeria 60: Abuja wears new look

The Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, is wearing a new look as Nigeria marks her 60th independence anniversary on Thursday.

To mark the day, a guard of honour/anniversary parade is scheduled for the Eagle Square, located directly opposite the National Cenotaph in the Three Arms Zone in the FCT. The inscriptions on the billboards range from tributes to the nation’s sporting icons and private sector players.New national flags have also been hoisted on all the poles at the City Gate, near the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
