The governor stated this after the election of his faction.During the election which held at the Justice Legbo Kutigi Conference Centre in Minna, the state capital, Hon. Haliru Zakari Jikantoro emerged the state chairman of the group by consensus.
But, the three Senators representing the state at the upper house of the National Assembly were present. He also alleged that those who claimed to have bought their forms got them from the market and not from the party. Earlier, the Governor arrived the venue of the congress in a 20-seater Toyota Coaster bus along with his team, but sat in the vehicle for over 20 minutes without stepping out.
