Nicole Chikwe, wife of Nigerian rapper Naeto C, has for the first time addressed the body-shaming comments and trolling she received from Nigerians when she started dating the rapper. Chikwe revealed that she was only 22 when she started dating the rapper, who was already very popular.

She said that people took to Twitter between 2010 to 2012 to criticize her face and body, claiming that the rapper could do better. She captioned the post, “All my ‘Premium Pie’ and ‘Finest in Lagos’ talk has an origin story. This is it. While I am super nervous to share, the urge to finally speak is greater. I love you and thank you ❤️.”The couple got married in a flamboyant wedding ceremony in 2012 and have two children together. Celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary last year, Nicole Chikwe posted a throwback photo of the couple from their wedding ceremony.

“Instead, they gave 2 whole goats .⁣⁣ That was the moment I realised OVERENJOYMENT WOULD FINISH ME IN THIS MARRIAGE 😂😂😂😂 #ObaFestival no do reach youuuuu oh Super C!!!”
