THE new chairman of the Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Sunday Fagbemi, has appealed to aggrieved party leaders and members in the state to give peace a chance.
Fagbemi made the appeal while answering questions at a press conference held under the auspices of the APC leaders in Kwara South to appreciate Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for supporting his emergence on Thursday. He said, “We have embarked on genuine reconciliation with those that we believe have reasons to be aggrieved.
“Towards this end, I have instructed my members during our maiden familiarisation meeting to meet with them. We have worked together before and we can still work together again.Fagbemi advised the aggrieved members to explore the party machinery in resolving the issue instead of going to the court.
