Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency , Abia State Command have arrested two persons at Umuokoro and Ndiolumbe communities in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of the state in connection with the sale of prohibited drug substances.
According to Akingabde, the arrest of the suspects was sequel to the outcry from the communities through the media over the activities of drug peddlers which has put lives and properties in the communities in danger. He disclosed that some dried weeds suspected to be cannabis were recovered from the suspects when the raiding of the communities was conducted.
