SaharaReporters had reported that gunmen invaded the correctional facility on Sunday evening, November 28, leading to the escape of 262 inmates.
Dec 02, 2021The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) has published the names and photos of some of the 252 inmates who escaped on Sunday from the Jos Custodial Centre in Plateau State. The Controller General of Nigeria Correctional Service, Haliru Nababa, on Monday, disclosed that 10 of the escapee prisoners were recaptured while 252 were still at large.
