Nigeria-born, United States of America-based singer and producer, Kufre Akpaidem, aka Freelance Free, has said his female fans hold a special place in his heart., he said “I love all my fans but honestly, my female fans hold a special place in my heart. As rappers, our fan base is usually male-dominated. So, I am especially motivated by female fans. One of the greatest things a female fan did for me was that she commissioned an artist to create a mural painting of me as a gift.
He stated, “Just like the average Nigerian parent, they were initially sceptical about me pursuing music professionally. However, over time, as I achieved success while doing music, my family has come to realise that it is a real passion of mine. They have become a huge support system for me. That is why my latest song encourages everyone to put in the work necessary to achieve one’s goals but also to continually aim higher every day.
