, founded by DJ Jesse Neo and Milana Leybovich in 2016 in Los Angles, has gotten the greenlight to begin operations in Nigeria. For over five years, Gemtracks Beats has been the number one website for artists to purchase instrumental beats for their songs. Gradually, it involved into a marketplace for professional music producers to sell their own beatsThe origin of the platform started when Jesse and Milana were working as songwriters and singers in Los Angeles for brands like Disney and FOX.

One reason that could explain the sudden success may be due to the fact each beat can only be sold once, and the legal ownership is also transferred to the customer. Hence, beats could be priced higher and customers could get all potential earnings they make from the beat without having to worry about paying royalties.
