Missing Osun coronavirus patient apprehended, forced back to isolation centre

Osun State Police Commissioner, Johnson Kokumo, was within the isolation centre premises when the woman was brought back into the facility by the police on Saturday afternoon. The Chief Press Secretary to Osun State Governor, Ismail Omipidan, confirmed that the patient had been returned to the isolation centre.

During a visit to the centre, there was heavy presence of security personnel with operatives of the Department of State Services and police stationed at the gate.Going round the isolation centre, located inside the state hospital, Gedu, Ejigbo, those that tested positive could be heard talking inside the hall, while medical personnel attending to them moved round to attend to them.

Others that tested negative were in high spirits as they prepared to return to their respective destinations.Speaking on behalf of other returnees, Alhaji Mojeed Animashaun, from Iwo, apologised for the unruly behavior of some of the returnees, commending the state government for the care given to them while under observation.

Are they taking good care of them This is Nigeria not other countries, for that patient to decided to escape.... Am sure No proper care

He or she should be educated about the virus and treated well. It is not easy to be in isolation. Even this social distancing is feeling somehow.
