The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Osun State Command, has arrested a 24-year-old suspected cyber fraudster, Bright Joseph, for allegedly posing as a farmer.
The Public Relations Officer of the command, Daniel Adigun, in a statement on Thursday, said the suspect was arrested at his residence at Owode Ede in Osun State. Adigun said the suspect disguised as a farm owner and advertised crates of eggs using the name of a farm in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, through his“One Halima Ashifa, 37, who resides at Sango Otta, Ogun State, signified interest in the supply and established contact with the suspect.
“She eventually made a cash transfer of N55,000 in two instalments of N7,500 and N47,500, for the eggs on 21st and 25th of January, 2022, respectively.
