Nwoye, who is also a lawyer, said this when he played host to the law students of a famous primate institution, Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu.
Nwoye said the society placed a lot of responsibilities on lawyers and it should not be taken for granted in spite the bad eggs within the profession. “You are the ones that re-engineer the society, whatever is going on in the society, lawyers are the ones responsible for the wrong and for the right.
Earlier, the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University, Prof. Gozie Ogbodo used the opportunity of the visit to honour Nwoye on behalf of the faculty.
