Speaking at the movie’s premiere, its executive producer, Okwilague Ibrahim, said one of the themes of the movie is to portray the use of social media as a tool of mass mobilisation, while showing that despite is many positive uses, it can be abused. On what inspired the choice of Speed Darlington as the lead character, Ibrahim said, “He has a presidential ambition. Also, he makes me laugh a lot. I follow all his social media pages and he is one person who always speaks the truth, though in a funny way. People think he is just joking but I think he really wants to become a president. So, I decided to help him pass his message through the movie. It is also to let the youth know that true power is in their hands.”
