Lalong imposes in three LGs as gunmen kill 23 in Plateau - Punch Newspapers

Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State has imposed in Jos North Bassa and Jos South Local Government Areas.

Lalong took the decision in a statement personally signed by him issued on Saturday night titled: “Imposition of curfew on Jos North, Bassa and Jos South” obtained by our Correspondent in Abuja. “The reports indicate that 23 of those attacked lost their lives while 23 persons sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment. 26 others were rescued unhurt. So far, 20 suspects have been arrested and the security agencies are conducting investigations to get to the bottom of the matter.

People in jos shd stay indoors n b watchful to avert any form of reprisals. This’s how jos crises always happens. May God keep the plateau safe from any form of bloodshed

U people should use the right word. Anyone can be a gun man, the army are gun men. Armed robbers are gun men. Who are these people? Boko Haram or herdsmen?

Politicians has devided plateau state citizens along ethnic/religion's line. The peaceful co-existence between Muslims/Christian's that our founding fathers stood for has been destroy by the new generations. Jos plateau state remains a promise land.

Useless government, they only act when the damages has been done. They locate millions of naira to them monthly but they dont have intelligence to avert senseless killings that happens on a daily bases
