SaharaReporters had exclusively reported on Monday that the President would be visiting Lagos on Thursday.

The newspaper had also reported that moves were already underway to provide heavy security in some parts of the commercial city ahead of the President’s visit.

LASTMA in a statement on Wednesday titled, “Traffic advisory for Thursday, December 9, 2021,″ announced the closure of roads and suggested alternative routes for motorists. “From Ozumba Mbadiwe to Adetokunbo Ademola to Eko Hotels Roundabout traffic will be temporarily diverted after Eko Hotels Roundabout to“All adjoining streets/feeder roads leading to Ahmadu Bello Way from Adeola Odeku Intersection, as well as those leading to Eko Hotels, from Adetokunbo Ademola Roundabout will be temporarily closed to traffic from early hours of the day on Thursday 9th December, 2021.Enforcement personnel to reduce unnecessary delays.
