Lagos state government is set to sanction companies who fail to file their tax returns to it on or before January 31, 2022.

A statement by the tax agency reminded businesses and employers of labour of their statutory obligation to file annual income tax returns pursuant to section 81 of the Personal Income Tax Act Cap P8 LFN 2004 .
