Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team handled 3,831 cases from April 2020 to April 2021, the state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Moyosore Onigbanjo, has said.
The attorney-general said that of the 3,831 cases of domestic violence, 2,629 involved adults while 1,202 involved children. Mr Onigbanjo added that the Public Advisory Center of the Lagos State Ministry of Justice rendered advice on 47,586 cases during the period under review.
