The Lagos State Police Command has promised to investigate an allegation of extortion levelled against some men of the command.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Adekunle Ajisebutu, who spoke to our correspondent on Sunday, noted that the police had zero tolerance for corruption.accusing some policemen of collecting money from a resident. Debo was said to be driving when he reportedly observed the victim lamenting that the police collected N30,000 from him.
In a bid to rescue the victim, the comedian stopped, disembarked from his vehicle and engaged the cops in a shouting match.The policemen were reported to be attached to the Ogudu Police Division.
