Lagos PDP stakeholders promise to unite for Jandor | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World News

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will formally absorb Lagos4Lagos Movement, one of the dissident groups in the Lagos State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), today.

The governors expected are: Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Samuel Ortom (Benue) and others.Meanwhile, major stakeholders of the Lagos PDP chapter have stressed the need to rally around the convener of the movement, Dr. Abdul Azeez Adediran (aka Jandor), to achieve victory for the party.

Those who spoke with The Guardian in separate telephone conversations include: a former PDP state chairman, Navy Captain Tunji Shelle; two-time governorship flag bearer of the party (2015, 2019) in Lagos, Mr. Jimi Agabje; a chieftain of the party, Dr. Adetokunbo Pearse and former Deputy National Chairman, Chief Olabode George.
