Lagos State government, on Sunday announced a plan to close the Marine Beach Bridge, Apapa, to vehicular movement. The state Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde, in a statement in Lagos, said the partial closure will be from May 27 to Oct. 21. He said that the closure was necessary in order to enable repair

Lagos State government, on Sunday announced a plan to close the Marine Beach Bridge, Apapa, to vehicular movement.

He mentioned that motorists inward Wharf Road would be diverted to the other section of the Bridge, outward Apapa. “The repair work has been planned in two phases.The first phase will be handling the lane inbound Apapa while the second phase will be designated to work on the lane that conveys vehicles outside the axis.
