The Lagos State Government has said traffic will be diverted on Dopemu Road in Agege area of the state for the rehabilitation of Babajide Sanwo-Olu Road for three months.

The Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde, said this in a statement on Monday, adding that the first phase of the project would focus on Ipaja Road to Adealu street junction. He said, “In line with the ongoing infrastructure development, the Lagos State Government will divert traffic on Dopemu Road in Agege by 10:00 pm on Friday, January 21, 2022 for the rehabilitation of Babajide Sanwo-Olu Road for three months.

“Alternative routes have been mapped by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority to enhance effective control of vehicular movement along the axis during the duration of the construction.” Oladeinde added that the alternative routes for motorists will be effectively managed by LASTMA officials.
