The Deputy National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Setonji Koshoedo made this call in an interview with journalists in Abuja. Koshoedo decried a situation where an account holder, under the watch of the Central Bank, has to pay three or more different charges on a single transaction. Describing the situation as a ripoff and a continual impoverishment of hard-working Nigerians, he reiterated that such is obtainable only in Nigeria because the current executive and legislative arms of government are shirking in their responsibilities.
