Three men, including two poultry farmers, have been kidnapped in Egbeda community, Kabba in the Kogi West Senatorial District, Kogi State.

The victims were said to have been abducted at two different locations in the community on Wednesday. Our correspondent gathered that two of the abductees, Olorunpomi Damilola, a worker with the College of Education Technical, Kabba, and Pastor Mayowa Otitolaye, were partners on a poultry farm, while the identity of the third victim had yet to be known as of the time of filing in this report.learnt that the gunmen shot endlessly into the air to scare away onlookers, as they seized their victims at the back of the Christ Apostolic Church, Egbeda, Kabba.

A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, pointed out the need to engage indigenous security squad in securing the community. The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP William Aya, who confirmed the incident, said the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the area informed the command around 9pm on Wednesday.
