Kebbi State Government has confirmed the release of 30 abducted students of Federal Government College , Birnin Yauri, after four months in captivity.
While addressing the students at Government House, Birnin Kebbi, Governor Abubakar Bagudu, thanked God for their release and urged the students to take their abduction as a trial from God.He directed that the students should undergo medical screening and be supported before they’re reunited with their families.Journalists were not allowed to take photographs of the released students, due to security concerns.
