The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has flagged off its local council electioneering across the state with a rally, on Saturday, at Kamba in Dandi Local Council.

At the event, Governor Abubakar Bagudu called on APC members to massively vote for its candidates in the February 5 local council polls.

Bagudu commended President Muhammadu Buhari and security agencies for their sustained efforts to restore lasting peace in the state and other parts of the country. The governor also stated that the rally in Kamba was organised for three main reasons, including to commiserate with the victims of the recent fire incident in the town.

He added: “We are, once again, expressing our deepest condolences over the recent attack in Danko Wasagu Local Council, resulting in the loss of lives. We are also here to flag off the campaign for the forthcoming local governments polls for the APC,” he added.
