The Emir made the pledge on Saturday when members of the National Youth Council of Nigeria and National Association of Kano State Students paid him solidarity visit at his palace in Karaye.
According to him, the emirate council had started seeking ways towards harnessing and utilisation of the abundant natural resources in the area for the overall growth and development of the people. He commended Ganduje for summoning the courage to do the needful, insisting that the creation of the new emirates was done in the best interest of the people and to ensure even socio-economic development in the state.
He added that, “we have come to the palace to show our solidarity with His Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar II. We align ourselves with Governor Ganduje’s action and we make bold to say that his decision deserve commendation.
