The Director-General of the Progressive Governors Forum , Salihu Lukman, has resigned from his position.Details of the letter are not available at this time but it is not unconnected to the convention controversy of the party.Lukman has been vocal about his stance on the national convention, warning the caretaker committee against the further delay of the national convention.
Governors of the APC had earlier Sunday met behind closed doors at the Kebbi Governors Lodge in Abuja. The governors deliberated on the contentious national convention of the party and also insisted on holding the planned February convention of the APC.
Why?
I literally feel it should be 'Secretary' of Governors Forum. Governors are Constitutional creations, the forum on the other hand is a networking tool for the govs. Perhaps changing it to Secretariat would allow for effective participation by the public and strengthen it,IMO.
APC is sliding into degradation gradually. It is better to leave early before the house finally collapse.
So what's breaking about this ?
APC Governor's forum must be very careful not to play into the hands of the opposition in the build up of the 2023 general election
Look at the person wey wan dedicate to Nigeria governors..
This man almost broke a record I look forward to seeing. I thought he resigned as a governor
We certainly wouldn't miss him while the suffering of ordinary Nigerians continue. Real Solution is what we need:
The runkus about to begin..
He did get his adequate dues as at when due
And the melt down begins
Can someone please educate me on the role(s) of the DG of these governors
Governors forum still has a DG? Lmao! 😂😂😂. This Nigeria ehn, very soon, armed robbers will start having physical offices and business registration numbers. Lemme be going sef.
Them done go one by one
People don’t resign in Nigeria, they are forced to resign.
