JUST IN: FG, Labour leaders meet Thursday

The Federal Government will meet with the leadership of Organised Labour over increase in petrol and electricity tariff hikes.

The Meeting is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 24th September 2020, at the Banquet hall, Presidential Vila by 3 pm.” After about eight- hour discussion, the meeting ended in deadlock with Labour issuing an ultimatum to commence an indefinite strike.The Trade Union Congress , which had earlier planned its nationwide strike/ protest for Wednesday 23, September 2020, shifted it to Monday when the two-week ultimatum by the Nigeria Labour Congress expires.
